ambidextreous is a fun word

okay, so I've been really bad about updating this... that's okay, no one reads this anyway.

So things are going smashingly. The only big snag in my smashingness is that I have tendonitis in my right wrist. so I really shouldn't be typing but that's okay. I got a brace for it today at the doctor so I can keep it fairly immobile until it heals. Yay for no surgery needed! However, I did think that I had a cyst and that sometimes needs surgery so I started teaching myself how to write with my left hand. I'm still going to do it because it's kind of a fun challenge. but it's no longer that I need to. I'm making it into a personal project for Creative and Critical Thinking too, so I'll get credit for it! Plus once I am confident in my writing and some drawing skills, I will reward myself by buying a Djembe drum. I'm excited. I tested myself last night and while I can write somewhat coherently, it still isn't comfortable or natural looking. more work!

Other projects for school... Vis thinking is going well enough. we created the scripts for our animatics and the teacher seems to like mine so far. It's a little to literal for me right now so I'm going to rework some of it.

Creative and Critical thinking my group is working with the wildcat sanctuary to plan an event. So far so good, we visited the sanctuary on monday and that was great getting to meet all of the big cats. good times.

Graphic design...blah not so fun. More working with the rose logos. now I just need to choose a design, refine it and find text for it...yay...but over all it is going well enough.

UCON group has finished up our wireframes which we will present to the client tomorrow morning. so far so good there too. we're meeting in about two hours at school to iron all the details out before tomorrow.

It's my big goal this week/month to sort out what I need to study better. right now I'm testing studying at the school library. that way I'm away from all distractions and what not. the lap top is a pretty big distraction too...*sigh* The other thing I'll be testing is reorganizing my studio at home so that its more user friendly...it's a mess right now and I get so distracted by messy rooms... I'm planning on getting rid of the spare bed we have since we don't use it. That'll make room for something more functional...like shelving, or a table...since that's what I've been using the damn bed for...

Anyway, back to work, I have sufficiently updated this for now...
